Crisis Prevention and Response (CPR) helps people and organizations prevent violence, reduce risk, and respond effectively to critical incidents through practical training, security consulting, and comprehensive assessments.
Co-founders Freddie Easter and Daniel Holland met in the police academy over a decade ago, where they developed a shared commitment to training and preparedness. Since then, both have built extensive careers in law enforcement and high-liability instruction, gaining real-world experience in managing risk, responding to critical incidents, and teaching others to do the same.
In 2025, they established Crisis Prevention and Response to bring that experience beyond the law enforcement environment and into businesses, schools, and organizations that want to improve their security and readiness.
Their approach is grounded in real-world application focusing on practical skills, clear decision-making, and effective response during high-stress situations.
Our Philosophy
Based in Central Florida, Crisis Prevention and Response (CPR) is dedicated to helping individuals and organizations make informed decisions about their security before, during, and after a crisis.
Our mission is to empower people through knowledge, preparation, and practical training. We believe many dangerous situations can be prevented, or handled more safely, when individuals and organizations understand the fundamentals of security, situational awareness, and crisis response.
Over the years, we have seen individuals and organizations spend significant time and money on security solutions and training that failed to address their real needs. Often this happens because of a lack of strategic planning or a limited understanding of the fundamentals of security.
While technology and threats continue to evolve, the basic principles of security and preparedness remain constant. By combining proven concepts with current research and emerging security trends, we help organizations make informed decisions about their security and preparedness.
Unlike many security firms, we do not sell hardware, subscriptions, or unnecessary services. Our focus is on providing practical knowledge, realistic training, and thoughtful consultation that helps organizations improve security in ways that are effective, sustainable, and appropriate for their environment.

Meet the Co-Founders
Freddie Easter
Freddie Easter is a law enforcement professional and co-founder of Crisis Prevention and Response who brings more than three decades of combined military and law enforcement experience to every engagement. A retired United States Marine Corps Gunnery Sergeant with 20 years of honorable service, Freddie has also built a career in public safety spanning patrol, specialized crime reduction units, and years as a full-time firearms and defensive tactics instructor.
He has instructed thousands of students on firearms, defensive tactics, first aid, and close-quarters engagement. Freddie is known for his practical, no-nonsense approach to safety and his ability to evaluate whether a proposed solution will actually work in the environments people face every day.

Daniel Holland
Daniel Holland is a law enforcement professional and co-founder of Crisis Prevention and Response (CPR). Born and raised in Central Florida, Daniel has spent more than a decade working in investigations, crime prevention, and public safety. He is a certified Crime Prevention Practitioner and Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) practitioner with extensive training in crisis intervention and investigations. Through CPR, Daniel helps businesses, healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations identify safety vulnerabilities, improve situational awareness, and implement practical strategies that reduce risk and improve preparedness. He also studies emerging security challenges, including the growing role of commercial drones (UAS) in public safety and civilian security planning.
